A few weeks ago a friend of mine here told me about a pumpkin patch we had here locally. So her family and my family all went together. We had a good time. There was a corn maze, face painting, hay ride and lots of farm animals. Ava loved it! Its still soooooo HOT here so we only stayed a few hours. Ava got her face painted. We got a little sunflower on her cheek. She was so good did mind one bit. So also loved the pig they had. Here are so of the pictures from our fun day.!!

Chuck E Cheese Please!!!

This past Saturday we took Ava to Chuck E Cheese for the first time. She absolutely loved it. We had some pizza and she rode so many rides! I had forgotten how "little kid" friendly that place is. Most everything in there she could ride and the kiddy games were great. Of course Lance and I had just as much fun as Ava did. I forgot my camera so these were taken from my iphone. They are not great but still captured the moment for us!! We will definitely be going back!!

Here is my new creation!!! I finally learned to make pants!! This outfit turned out so cute!! I can not wait to start making Ava more outfits. Granny, what do you think?? I know you want it orange and blue, but other than that...LOL. I wish I was closer to you so you could teach me!! Sewing and Monogramming have become my new passion. I love doing this!! Ball Pit FUN!!!...yeah for Ava!!

So Ava got a ball pit for her birthday and she has not been interested in it at all,until recently!! Now, I can't keep her out of it. She has learned to turn it over and crawls out the top of it. She thinks its so fun and laughs and laughs. Most of this week I spent picking up 300 balls that she throws all over the house!!! She was in a bad mood earlier... LOL, and then she found her ball pit. I snapped a few pictures while she was playing. She has also learned to hide all kinds of stuff in there. We have found her books, my candles, lance's keys, coke cans, and lance's flip flops!!! She is so funny! Where does she learn this stuff??

We are football ready!! Its only 2 weeks away and we are so excited!! I made Ava several outfits to wear this year!! She looks so cute in all of them. We also have 2 cheerleader uniforms to wear this season. I think its going to be another great year for Alabama!!! ROLL TIDE!!!

This past week we took our yearly vacation with Lance's parents! We had so much fun this year. Last year Ava was only 2 months old when we went so this year was so much more fun with her! Ava loves the beach and chasing the seagulls. We got to the beach on Monday and we went strait to Margaritaville. We needed a drink after driving 6 hours with Ava. The rest of the week we beached it every day!! The weather was perfect!! On Thursday we got our beach family pictures taken. I can not wait to see how they turned out!! We also hit Pier Park and did a little shopping. They have a Carter's there so I could not pass on getting a few things for Ava this fall. Tiffany, Matthew's girlfriend, and I went parasailing! It was amazing! If you have never done it.. its so worth doing. We loved it! Here are so of the pictures from the week. Of course we were so sad to leave, it means summer is over. The only thing we have to look forward to now is Alabama football is starting in a few weeks! And we hope to find out in a few months were we will be moving to.

This past week we got to go to Pensacola Beach because Lance had a business trip. Ava and I took full advantage and hit the beach every day!! We had such a good time!! Happy 1st. Birthday Ava Addison!!

I know, I know... I am really slow with the blogging!! We have been a really busy little family, but here are some of the pictures from her big day! I can't believe a year has already come and gone!! Of course I cried all morning on the day of her birthday!! Ava is one amazing little girl! She has forever changed our lives!! We had her party on Saturday the 26. Her GiGi and PawPaw came from Alabama and YaYa and Poppo came from Naples. My parents also bought some family friends with them, Ed and Jayne. They LOVE Ava!! We had such a wonderful day with everyone. Ava got so many presents, it was much worse than Christmas... but that is how its suppose to be!! We are very big on Birthday's in our family!! Ava cake was AWESOME. We had it made in Naples and my parents brought it to us. The lady did a fantastic job. I can only imagine with this child's wedding cake will look like!! We have more pictures I will add this later, I thought they were on the computer already but they are not. Oh well, enjoy these for now!!

Today we had Ava's 1 year pictures taken!! We had 4 outfits and we only made it in 2 of them. You can not tell from the "sneak peek" but she was very fussy towards the end of it!! She would not sit still for anything. We have to go back next week to take the rest of them. I can not believe in 2 weeks my sweet little baby will be 1, who is now walking, by the way!! We are having her party on the 26th and Pawpaw, Gigi, YaYa, and Poppo are all coming!! I know our house will like "Toy's R Us" once its all said and done, but I know Ava will love it! I will post more pictures as soon as I get them, but for now here is the sneak peek!!

10 Months Coming to an End

Well it has been a little while since I updated our family blog!! Ava keeps me super busy I never think about updating this!! As we end our 10th month I have become really sad, I just can't believe that in 1 month she will be a year old!!!!!! This year has flashed in front of my eyes!! Ava is seriously the best baby I could ever asked for. The child is always happy!!! Every day she is doing something new!! We are not walking yet but I know any day now she is just going to get up and take off! Here are some of our pictures from our 10 month! Enjoy!!

Just a few quick Ava updates for everyone who follows our blog!! Weight: not really sure about 20lbs at least! LOL Height: who knows ?? I think she is going to be taller like Lance. New Discoveries: Everything.. LOL!! She has been crawling now for about a month now. She is pulling up on everything an walks along the side of things. She has 7 teeth.. and LOVES Gerber puffs and she would rather feed herself than me feed her! She says "ma-ma" and "da-da". She loves music and dancing!!! She is very good at imitating you, sounds or facial expressions, and bath time is our Favorite time!!

Easter Weekend part 2: Sea World Orlando!!!

Sea World Orlando!!!

The day was unbelievable!! We had a blast!! We took more pictures these are just from GiGi camera. We saw the "believe" show, we saw sing rays, dolphins, sea lions... etc!! It was so awesome. Ava absolutely loved Shamu!! Lance and I bought a huge one, you will see it in the pictures below, and she laughed and squealed all day at that thing! I have never seen her act like this before!! I had no idea she would love it so much. She was such a trooper and did great all day. She is such a people person she smiled at everyone!! We all had a fantastic time! Thank you PawPaw and GiGi for a wonderful trip and Easter Weekend!!!

Easter Weekend 2010 part 1

Well it had been 4 months since we had seen PawPaw and GiGi and they finally got here. We had a very special Easter weekend with them!! We were all so excited to see them, and uncle Matt made the trip too! They got here on Tuesday night and left us after lunch on Easter. We had such a great time as always! Friday Lance got off from work so we headed to Clearwater Beach and oh my Gosh was it crowded!!!!... that's really an understatement!! But, we were glad to be there in laying in the summer! We had a good day!! Here are some of the pictures that we took. They are more pictures of Lance and I but we are not exactly beach body ready yet... LOL!! We are getting there! Ava was in her first pageant this past Saturday. It was a Sunburst Pageant, I competed in the same pageant was I was little!! My mom brought her just a church dress to compete in. There were 5 other babies in her category. Ava won 1st princess, which is runner up!! She did awesome. We will compete in state in Orlando at the end of May!! Here are some pictures from her big day!!

Ava is almost 8 months old!!

Well it has been a while since my last update!! We have had a very exciting month, I must say. Ava is almost crawling!! She is still rolling everywhere for now, but she is getting up on those knees rocking back and forth. This month we also starting holding our own bottle!! This is such a big thing as you moms out there know!! :) Our sleeping patterns have changed a little, and I am not happy about it. Since the child was born she has slept ALL night long for 10 to 12 hours. Well in this past month we have started waking up once a night between the hours of 1 and 3am!! Its no fun for mama!! I have to admit she does take her bottle quickly and goes right back to sleep, but I still don't like it! I hope we go back to sleeping all night soon. At our last doctors appoint we weighed in at 19.7 lbs and she is 27" long!! We are now wearing 12 month clothes!! We also started eating yogurt and ice cream as well has some crackers. We are also now using a high chair when we go out to eat!! OH, and Ava loves to dance!!! Its the cutest thing!!! Here are some pictures from this past month.. ENJOY!!!

I love the clothes basket pictures!!! This was from one of those nights that she got up and did not want to go back to sleep. So while I folded some clothes Ava hung out in the basket!! I had to take a pictures of it.. she is so stinkin' cute!!!

Home not so Sweet Home...

The week after Christmas Ava and I rode with YaYa and Poppo to Clarksdale. I can not tell you how amazed I was with Ava riding 14 hours in her car seat. God was truly with us!! She did fantastic!! We stayed a week in Clarksdale in my brothers one bed room apartment! I was ready to come home to say the least. It was very fun getting to see lots of old friends though! Ms. Rita and Mr. Gary came over to see us and to meet Ava for the first time. Heather and Jackson came over from Greenville to see us. It was fun to see Ava and Jackson together. They are 6 months apart in age. I wish we lived closer to spend more time with them. Jackson was not sure about Ava being in Heather's lap. He got a little jealous, it was cute. He wanted in Heather's lap too and got right in mommy's face. Aunt Heather gave Ava the cutest outfit and socks for Christmas too. Its lime green with zebra ruffle and cute pink feathery stuff across the chest. I will have to take a picture of it to show.

We saw lots of Poppo's family while we were there. Aunt Lisa, poppo's sister, was so glad to get to meet Ava. Ava also met mama Young for the first time. While in Clarksdale I also ran into Heather Houston and Kate Dunn it was fun seeing them. Kate and Mason's kids are so cute. They look just like Mason!! I also got to have lunch with my really good friend Kacy and her little girl Ally. I was so glad I got see her. I went and visited with her mom as well. Ms. Kay is always so sweet!! And of course I got to see Merri! I basically had to hog tie her to spend time with me, but that's Merri. Leighton did take me and Merri to the casino one night and got us a suite. It was fun! Free room, free food, free drinks, and I only lost $20 of Leighton's money..LOL! We had a good time. I don't get to spend a lot of time with him so I was glad we had the chance to do something together. I have learned to never say "Never" but I hope I never have to move back to Clarksdale! It was so depressing! I was glad to get back to my bed and my house here.

Christmas at Our House

Christmas Eve Lance and I took Ava to church at St. Anthony's here in Brooksville. The Church was decorated beautiful. Christmas trees everywhere and tons of beautiful red poinsettias all over the alter. Church was so crowded that we sat in the back on folding chairs. Ava was dressed in her red and white plaid dress and looked adorable. She was very good in church as she always is. I hope she continues to get this great behavior as she continues to grow. Christmas Eve night Lance and I grilled out steaks and baked potatoes. Its a tradition in both our families to eat steak on Christmas Eve night so that's what we did. Christmas Morning was quite exciting!! It was Ava's first Christmas. She had no idea what was going on. I would put her presents in her lap and she just wanted to take the bows off and play with it. YaYa and Poppo came up Christmas morning. We were very excited to see them. I had already gotten my present from them which was my monogramming machine, by the way I will be starting soon, so I knew I was not going to have any presents from them. However, when mom and dad got here they were bringing in presents by the car load!! I asked mom what were all the presents for, I thought I already got my gift. She looked at me and said, "These are for Ava". LOL what was I thinking!! She got the cutest big girl pj's from YaYa, they are pink and have little girls all over them. She also got a talking dog from leap frog. The dog will learn Ava's name and teach her how to spell it. The toys these days amaze me!! Ava also got a pink cozy coupe from GiGi and PawPaw to open Christmas morning! Lance had to put it all together, but he did a really good job. She looks so cute when she is playing in it. She loves for me to push her around the living room in it. YaYa also brought up a turkey, dressing, and green bean casserole for Christmas dinner. She fixed everything and it was all so good. Lance and I had a really good Christmas!

Christmas 2oo9 in Gadsden

So sorry it took me so long to update the date, but December was a crazy month for our little family!! Lance and I had a wonderful Christmas! We first spent Christmas with PawPaw and GiGi in Gadsden (Dec 10-13th)! We were so excited to get there. It was Ava's first plane ride and she did so good. Everyone was complementing us on how well she did! When we got off the plane in Birmingham PawPaw and GiGi were waiting on us. Of course they scooped up Ava and loved on her right away!!! The first thing we did once we were in Alabama again was eat at Jim and Nick's!!! Yes, real BBQ!! Lance picked the restaurant of course, but I love it too. We finally made it to Gadsden and PawPaw and GiGi's house was all decorated for Christmas, it was beautiful. GiGi had one of the prettiest Christmas trees I have ever seen. The house looked great!! Thursday morning Lance, Ava and I woke up early, and Lance went and got us Cothran's donuts. They are only the best donuts EVER!! That night we went to Top of the River in Gadsden to eat. Lance and I had been talking about their catfish for months, and we already knew what we wanted to order!! That night was the first time Granny met Ava. Friday Ava and I stayed in... it was so cold and she started teething so bad. She cut her first 2 teeth. She also ended up developing a terrible diaper rash. Saturday morning was Christmas was us!! We opened all our gifts! We got a video recorder, blu-ray player, Lance's got clothes for work, I got scraping stuff and candles, and of course there was a pile of stuff for Ava!!! She has toys and clothes everywhere!! That afternoon we had Christmas dinner with all the fixin's. It was great just being back we had such a wonderful time!! Sunday was a cry fest to say the least!! Its always so sad to leave family! But here they are pictures from Christmas in Gadsden!!

Ava Meets Santa!!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!! We traveled to Naples to see my parents. The trip normally takes us 3 hours... it took us over 5 hours to get there!! Traffic was awful! We saw 11 major accidents on the way. We finally made it though and Ava was so ready to be out of the car, she had had enough!!! Thanksgiving day we had turkey and all the fixing's. My mom made her wonderful homemade dressing! Friday was the IRON BOWL..and we WON!! ROLL TIDE!!!!!!! Saturday morning we took Ava to meet Santa at the Bass Pro Shop! They had a winter wonder land. They were selling cookies and fudge, had a tons of toys out for kids to play with and making crafts!! Ava loved Santa... she was pulling on his beard.. and took a great picture!

Trick or Treat

We had a fun Halloween weekend! PawPaw and GiGi came down to see us!! On Friday we spent the day at the beach. It was 90 degrees here so we took advantage!! Friday night Lance and I had "date night". GiGi always insist we do something when she comes down, so Lance and I went to the movies and out for a drink after. We saw "Couples Retreat", it was really funny!! On Saturday we carved the pumpkin I got and that night we went to downtown Brooksville to a haunted house! They had a fire and people telling stories, they was a palm reader, the haunted house of course and they were selling baked goods. Ms. Stephanie and I got our palms read and Lance and Mr. Barry went though the haunted house. I am suck a chicken I would not go!! I hate to be scared! LOL. So here a some pictures from the weekend!!

4 Months Old already!!!!

My Ava turned 4 months old on Saturday!!

This past week we have had some very exciting

"NEWs" We rolled over for the very first time!!

I just clapped and cheered!! It was so great!!

I actually missed it the first time! I was in my bed

room making the bed and heard her fussing and

grunting. I knew she was on her tummy mat and

was just probably ready to get up. I finished making the

bed and I walked into the living room and she had

rolled over... and had fallen asleep, sucking that

thumb of course!! I wanted to wake her so bad

to see if she would do it again, but I didn't!! I called

Lance and was screaming she rolled over and I missed

it!!! So that night when he got home we laid her on her

tummy mat to see if she would do it again! And she did!!

Oh, it was so awesome!! The smallest thing amuse us now!

Here is how I found her after she rolled over!!

Also the same day we tried our first bite

of baby food! It was bananas!! And she

loved them! Since then we have also tried

carrots which she loves also!! Tomorrow

we have our 4M check up. I will up date

her weight and height once I know!!

Do You Like It?!?!

Here is miss prissy trying her first bite of rice cereal!! She seemed to like it.

She didn't really understand the spoon though. She would take a bite and laugh

and spit it back out at me. We did this several times then she finally got the hang

of it. I feel so very blessed to have such a wonderful happy baby. Ava is so content

most of time. She only cries if she is hungry or sleepy. The child has been sleeping

all night since she was 3 weeks old!! Everyday I look at her and tell her how much

she means to me. God has truely blessed my life. Of course we have our hard times,

but its only making this family stronger. We have had a lot going on this past year,

but we are making it through ALL of it, and have our parents to thank for that. Lance

and I have such wonderful parents! We love you so very very much.

My baby is growing so fast. I thought I would put some very recent pictures of her up.

Everyday is so much fun with her. She is talking more and more. I feel like she wants to tell me something, but just can't say it yet. She has found out the power of her voice. When she starts talking she just gets louder and louder.... it's so funny. Her new thing is sitting in her Bumbo seat. She loves sitting in it and watching tv with mommy and daddy. She just went for her 2 month check up a few weeks ago, it was awful because we had to get shots. I have never heard her cry like that, it broke my heart. She weighed in 13.13lbs and was 23.5" long. She is in the 93% for her weight...LOL, what can I say the child loves to eat!! I asked if I should be concerned, the doctor informed me to not change a thing. He said she was doing GREAT! She was in the 90% for her height. I think she going to be taller like her daddy. I just hope she is not 6 feet. But I always hated being as short as I am, so lets just hope she is taller than me. Tomorrow GiGi and PawPaw are coming for a visit. We are excited to see them, we know we will have a fun week.

We had such a good time! Saturday I made homemade

BBQ chicken pizza for lunch and Saturday night they

took us to Red Lobster for Lance's Birthday dinner.

Lance ate 117 shrimp!!! We all just kind of set there

and watch him eat all of them... it was funny. Here are

Ava's First Beach Trip

We had a blast!! Last week we left on Wednesday headed to PCB to meet Lance's family. We stayed right on the beach. The view was to die for. I could seriously wake up every morning to a view like we had. Here is the view!

Everyone was so excited to see Ava! Nana and uncle Matt got to meet her for the first time. PawPaw was also so very happy to see her, he had not seen her since she was born. He suprised me a purple and pink flammed skull hat for her and OMG did she look so cute! He also got her purple sunglasses to go match. We spent everyday on the beach but Thursday. It rained that day, so the boys went to see "G.I. Joe" and the girls saw "The Time Traverlers Wife." We had so much fun just being with the family. We also celebrated Lance's 26th birthday on Sunday before we had to come back. His mom got him a boob cake... it was hilarious!! Lance was so shocked when he saw it. This past weekend we spent the weekend in Naples with my parents. It was my mom's 50th birthday! For months she has been planning this party. This past year my mom has over come a lot, with the biggest thing being beating breast cancer!! Her party turned out wonderful. She had a friend do all the decorating!! It was all hot pink, black, and animal print! She also had it catered with great food! There was boiled shrimp with lemon wedges, homemade spinnach dip, fried chicken dummies with bbq sauce, seafood quiches, fried articokes, fresh fruit tray, and veggi tray. She got a DJ, who was awesome! He played all kinds music. Lance taught everyone the cupid shuffle... it was hilarious. There was an open bar with liquor, beer, and wine!!! She really went all out! Oh, and her cake was fabulous... it was 3 teir- marble on the bottom, chocolate in the middle, and vanilla on top. Everyone had a blast!! Below are some pictures I took of the decorations and cake. You know you would think I would have lots of time to update the blog.. LOL!! But Ava has been keeping me pretty busy. Over the past few weeks my daddy, Leighton, and GiGi (my mother in-law) have all been to see her. My dad and Leighton stayed for 4 days. My dad could not get over how small she was. Leighton was really good with her. He just loved on her the whole time he was here. It was so hard letting my mom go. She was here for 2 1/2 weeks with us. She was fantastic. She cleaned, cooked, went grocery shopping for me, and helped me take care of Ava. GiGi was here this past week! We were all so excited to see her. I think Ava and I did more this past week with GiGi then we have since Ava was born. We went shopping and out to eat like everyday! GiGi also gave me and Lance a date night! She was pushing us out the door... Lance and I went to eat and to see a movie. We went and saw "The Hangover" and oh my gosh did we laugh! It was really good, we loved it!! PawPaw didn't get to make the trip, but we will see him soon at the beach! PawPaw we can't wait to see YOU!! Ava also turned one month old yesterday! I can not believe she has already been in my life for a month! Time really does fly! She is growing everyday and is doing really good! She is only waking up about once and night. We go back to the doctor this week for another weight check-up. Last time we were there she was weighing in at 9lbs 8oz. She has already out grown most of her newborn clothes! I know when we go to the doctor this week she will have gained more weight and I know she has gotten so much longer. I think she is going to take after her daddy and be tall. Ava had a lot of "first" this week and half.... We tought we would share!!

We had a busy first few weeks. The first 2 pics is us at the doctor for the first time. It was just a check up to see how her weight was and to see if she had grown any. When we left the hopital we weighed 7lbs 7oz... at the doctor we weighed 8lbs 7oz!! Ava gained a whole pound!! The doctor was very excited about that. She has also grown 1/2 an inch. The next 2 pics are us on our first outing. We went to lunch at Beef O Brady's. After lunch we went to Lance's work to show her off!!! Everyone thought she was so cute in her outfit and bonnet. Cali and Ben meet Ava for the first time too. Well, they met her when she got home but they wouldn't get close to her. These pictures are the first time they got close enough for me to take a picture. Brady is still so jealous he won't really get near her, so we don't have a picture of them yet. The next first we had was our first bottle feeding. I was really upset about this one. Breast feeding is going so well but this was a bad night. We decided to give her a bottle of my breast milk. She was up every hour on the hour. I was so tired I just could not do it. Since then we are doing great and no more bottles!! That was just a rough night. The last picture is of Ava's first real bath. Her cord finally fell off so me and YaYa gave her a bath. She seemed to really love the warm water. It relaxed her so much that she tee-tee and pooped all over me.. LOL! guess its just one of those things that happens. Tomorrow Ava is 2 weeks old. I can't believe it!! Her Papa and uncle Leighton are on there way now to meet miss Ava for the first time.

4th of July weekend

We spent the weekend in Naples at my parents house. It was nice just to get away for a bit. We cooked out BBQ and laid by the pool all day Saturday. We were worried it would rain the whole time, but the sun finally came out and we had a really good time. Mom made some awesome dips to snack on and we made "real" pina colada's!! Ava slept most of the day. We did put her in her swimsuit and her shades that my mom got her. She looked so adorable. The sun-glasses are a little big but still so cute! The Birth of Ava Addison Lockridge

8:29am, June 24, 2009 Ava Addison Lockridge was born. We have very graphic pictures of the entire birth however, I will not be posting those. No one wants to see that. To be honest I didn't want to see them. Everything went really well with the section. I didn't feel a thing. Lance was watching over the curtain and I was watching his face. It made me nervous, but he said he really wanted to watch. The moment I heard her cry Lance and I were beside ourselves. I could not control my tears. The doctor showed her to me quickly and they began doing all the stuff that they have to do. I was relieved that she had made it to the world safe and she was healthy. They took her to the nursery and Lance left the OR. I began to get nervous again. I knew they still had work to do on me. It seemed like it took forever. I finally made it back to the room and the nurse let only Lance in while I recoved. Ava weighed in at 7lbs. 13.9oz and 20 1/2 " long. She looks just like her daddy. She is so beautiful! We are very proud parents and we have 2 sets of very proud grandparents.

Here we all are waiting on Ava. We got to the hospital at 530am Wednesday morning. I was very very scared. Before I went in the OR Lance had writen me a letter telling me how much he loved me and what this day meant to him. Of course I cried and cried. He gave his parents a letter as well. They wouldn't read it right away because they knew they would cry too. Everyone did a good job of trying to calm me down, not that it really worked but everyone get an "A" for effort. At 745am I was taken back to the OR. The spinal took a lot longer than normal. I was in great pain!! It finally took and they brought Lance back. I could not calm myself, I have never been more nervous and scared about anything in my whole life. I was not scared about being a mom I was scared about my belly getting split wide open.

Quick Update..

Well I made it to 39 weeks!!! YAY!! I am so very ready for this baby to get here. I had my last doctor's visit this past Thrusday. He said everything was good!! I am not dialated or effaced at all, so I think she is going to hang on for the last 72 hours or so. I am scheduled for my c-section at 7:45am Wednesday morning, June 24th. The in-laws are coming in tomorrow for the week!! I am ready to see them! And my parents are making the trip up late Tuesday afternoon. It has been a nice relaxing last weekend for Lance and I. I did most of my nesting during the week, but today we still have to steam clean the carpets and I have some ironing left to do. Yesterday we spent the day at the beach. It was so hot I had to sit under a palm tree, and I still got tan lines. Lance got a little sunburned but not to bad. This morning I suprised Lance and made him breakfast in bed for his 1st Father's Day. He was totally shocked.. I told him not to get use to it..LOL!! Well I hope everyone has a fabulous rest of the weekend. The next time I post a new entry it will be about Ava's arrival!!!!!!!

Diaper Shower

Today we were given a baby shower at the hospital where Lance works. They had the room decorated cute with all pink of course. We had a pink and white cake, yummy pink punch, fresh fruit, and a cheese tray. A lady that Lance works with in Accounting put it all together for us. She is a very sweet lady. She had asked Lance previously what Ava still needed. You all have seen her closet and know that the child does not need clothes. Plus at the last shower we also got so much bath stuff and towels. I also have plenty of bottles... so I just told Lance to tell her to give us a diaper shower. I mean who doesn't need diapers with a new baby, thats one thing you can not have to many of. We had quit a few gifts to open. Lance was volunteered to open them all, he looked very cute unwrapping all her gifts. We now have 31 packs of diapers!! (a few boxes of them and the rest of are packs, which vary in number). We also have 20 packages of wipes!! Here are a few pictures from the shower. Thank You again Brooksville Regional Hospital!!

Well its been a long weekend in the house. I think I must be nesting. I can't seem to stop cleaning. All weekend it rained except for today. Lance and I did get to the beach for a little while. I can't stay long because I get so hot. This weekend Lance really helped me out with the cleaning. We vacuumed, swept the floors, and gave all the dogs baths. I am still washing Ava's clothes a little at a time.

Anyway, the whole reason I was posting an entry today was to show you our first babies. My mom looked at our blog for the first time the other night and said, "you need to put the dogs on the blog or someone will think you have a lot of children." I just laughed!! But she is right I have been meaning to put them on here. After all, once Ava gets here I doubt they will get any blog time at all! As most of you know my family is a little obsessed with weinie-dogs!! Ever since Ms. Rita introduced our family to them we have always had one. My parents currently have 2 of them (Scarlett & Gunter) and Lance and I have 2 also (Ben & Brady). Ben and Brady are mama's boys for sure. Ben is more like my shadow. I have had him the longest. He is almost 4 now. Brady is our double-dapple wenie. He is a mess... always pushing his limits. Brady is two. And lastly but surely not the least we have Cali. She is our 70lb. golden retriever and she is only a year old. She has a complex, she thinks she is a weinie too!! She doesn't understand why she doesn't fit in our laps like Ben and Brady do. Lance kept bugging me about getting a "real" dog. Ben and Brady are to small for him. He wanted a rottweiler and I told him no way... that it would eat the weinie's. He settled for a golden instead. This was just too sweet not to share! Lance and I have started a tradition, on Sunday mornings we make pancakes. We call it "Pancake Sunday"... not really a stretch, I know. Anyway, this morning I was checking my email and Lance was making the pancakes. He totally surprised me... look at those cute "AVA" pancakes. Sometimes he can be so sweet..LOL!

Lance has started playing softball again this season in Florida. His hospital, Brooksville Regional, has a team. He loves the game!! He plays 3rd base and I believe is 1st to bat on the roster. I did not get to see him play in his first game because I was still living in Alabama. He did very good. He was 4 for 4 at bat with 4 RBI's. He hit a triple, a double, and 2 singles and scored all 4 times!! His 2nd game he did not get to play in because he was home in Alabama for the weekend. His team is 2-1 for the season so far. They lost the 3rd game which I was at to see him play. He played very well, they should have won but lost by a run in the bottom of the 9th. Here are some pictures of him playing.

I got the camera cord today so I'm in business!! Here are some pictures from the night of graduation. My very supportive parents came up from Naples, Florida and celebrate with me. Also, my mother in-law came to watch too. Mr Barry had to work and could not be with us. Lance of course was not with us either, he had already flown back to Florida. He had to be at work with his new CFO starting.

Hello all!! So sorry it has been forever since I updated the blog. I lost my camera cord and can not put pictures up right now. But not to worry my wonderful father in-law is mailing me an extra cord today so pictures will be up soon. Since the last post I GRADUATED again!! YAY for me!! I just came to Florida a few weeks ago to finally join Lance. I have to say I am pretty bored during the day! The first weekend here we traveled to Naples to see my parents. It's so nice only being 3 hours from my mom as apposed to 12 hours. We just enjoyed the weekend poolside and BBQed. I will post a few pictures later from the weekend. Also, I am going to post some graduation pictures as well. I very excited to have school behind me. I just hope and pray I can find a job come September.

Florida weather!!

Today I had my 35 week doctor check up. Everything is great!!! She is still being very active everyday. I know soon I am not going to have any room for her to move. Sleeping has become terrible, as in I don't sleep well at all. I toss and turn all night long, Lance never even knows...LOL! Most days I find myself taking a nap. I am really trying to rest as much as possible as everyone is telling me to do so. Only 5 weeks left and we will have a new baby!! I still just can not believe it! I know my mom and Ms. Stephanie are getting so excited too, I can hear it in their voices! I start going to the doctor every week now. I don't think she is coming early and my doctor does not seem to think so either. We have scheduled a c-section for June 24th at 7:45am. With my pelvis being to small they don't think I will be able to push her out. They(the doctors) told me the whole time to think c-section. I think I mentally prepared for it. I have been talking to my cousin Heather a lot about it, and reading a lot about it. Well sorry so long and boring but I promise to have pictures up soon. Oh and I will make sure to put pictures of Ava's room up, its totally finished. The letters my mom got her look great over her bed.

Ava's Baby Shower

Yesterday my mother-in-law gave me a baby shower. It turned out amazing. Four of my friends from school came (Jessica, Brooke, Brittany, and Heather). Jessica brought me the cutest cake to the shower. Everyone loved it so much we didn't want to cut into it, but of course we did! Ms. Stephanie really out did herself. Every thing was so wonderful. The food was great and the decorations were too cute. Mr. Barry's aunt Darlene (who I love!!!) and his cousin Kristy got to come over from Atlanta. I had not seen them since the wedding so it was a great surprise! My mama, Ya-Ya, and Ms. Stephanie, Gi- Gi,gave Ava like 10 to 12 presents each!! They of course went way over board... but Ava and I didn't mind one bit ;) Aunt K-K and Aunt Cindy came to the shower also. They both are so sweet and both gave Ava some fantastic presents. Everyone that came really out did themselves!! Lance and I are so very thankful that we have such great and loving families. Lance was back in Bama for the weekend and had a great time. He was glad he got to see some of the Atlanta crew and hang out with his dad and brother. They had a lot of fun going to the shooting range and Friday. Saturday Lance and his dad were going to play golf but of course it rained so they could not go. Instead they went and had wings and beer, while the girls did the baby shower thing. Lance could not believe all the stuff we got. He said he was going to have to rent me a U-Haul to get it all back to Florida. We did get a lot of presents. I feel so very blessed!!! Tuesday is my pinning for graduation and then I am leaving Florida. I have so much to do once I arrive home. I can not believe in a short 8 weeks my angel will be here! Birthday

Today is my 27th birthday. I wanted to thank everyone for all there birthday wishes. It has been a great day so far. I wish my hubby was here to spend it with me, but I will see him on Thursday. Today I shared with Lance that I had started a blog, he is so cute and jumped right into it. I was really surprised!! As you can see below he already posted pictures of Ava's room. He is so proud of it, and he should be!! They all put so much work into it!! I love it! As he stated he only posted pictures of the part him, Guy, and Mr. Barry did. I thought it would be nice to show all the hard work me, my mom, and Ms. Stephanie put into the room!!

Here is Ava's room all pretty in pink and decorated! I just have to get a mirror to go above the changing dresser and we have ordered letters with her name to go above the bed. After that it will all be complete! The sign on her door was painted by my friend Audra, she is in x-ray school with me. She did such an awesome job on it.

Hello everyone!!! I have been meaning to start one of these forever. My cousin Heather was kind of enough to help me get started. So everyone please be patient as I am still figuring this all out. This weekend I am currently in Greenville, MS visiting Heather, Jonathan and sweet baby Jackson. He is helping me get ready for Ava's arrival. He is so adorable and such a good baby. I am now currently 31 weeks pregnant. Over Easter weekend I was in Florida with Lance and my family. We had an ultrasound done of Ava at 29 weeks. I know most of you have seen pictures from it, but to help me learn how to do this blogging website I am going to post some of my favorites. I think she already looks like Lance. She has his mouth and cheeks. She is so cute already. I am just ready to meet her. I still can't grasp that in a short 9 weeks I am going to be a mommy!!
